Acetylthio PEG biotin, also called Thioacetate PEG biotin, is a biotinylated PEG with protected thiol group. Acetylthio group in this thioacete PEG can be easily deprotected under acidic or alkaline conditions while biotin can be used for avidin or streptavidin binding.
