Nanocs is seeking to fill a Synthetic Organic Chemist Position. The successful candidate will be responsible for design and synthesis of organic compounds for biomedical applications.
Requirements
  • Organic chemistry degree, at least 2 years of working experience
  • Experience in synthetic methodologies, synthesis problem-solving, and total synthesis
  • Knowledge of broad separation technologies and characterization techniques
  • A track record of technical publications, highly effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, teamwork, and demonstrated leadership is essential for success

The successful candidate will be responsible for routine chemistry and biochemistry lab work including material preparation, characterization, inventory and lab management.
Requirements
  • B.S or M.S. degree in chemistry, material science or biochemistry degree
  • Familiar with basic chemistry and biology lab practice
  • Knowledge of molecule synthesis, purification and characterization
