Fluorescein labeled polyethylene glycol is a fluorescent PEG derivative which has a maximum absorption at 495 nm and emission around 515~520 nm. FITC group can be easily traced from its yellow color and green fluorescence. Additional functionality allows these fluorescent PEG derivatives to be easily conjugated to other molecule or material surfaces.
