Thiol functional agarose beads (Mab-SH) are one of Nanocs' surface functionalized magnetic agarose beads that have multiple thiol (-SH) groups on their surface. These magnetic agarose beads have super-paramagnetic properties and they can be easily separated from media with commonly available magnetic beads separation devices. Our Thiol functionalized magnetic agarose beads have high density of free thiol groups, and these thiol groups can be used to react with thiol reactive groups such as maleimide; they can also be used as reducing resins to cleave disulfide bond. Because of their super paramagnetic property, these thiol functional magnetc agarose beads can be easily purified with magnet.
