Azide functional agarose beads (Mab-N₃) are one of Nanocs' surface functionalized magnetic agarose beads that have multiple azide groups on their surface. These magnetic agarose beads have super-paramagnetic properties and they can be easily separated from media with commonly available magnetic beads separation devices. Our azide functionalized magnetic agarose beads have high density of azide groups, and these azide groups can be used to react alkyne via so called Click Chemistry to immobilize proteins, antibodies, enzymes and many other biomolecules on these agarose bead surfaces. Because of their super paramagnetic property, these biomolecule conjugated agarose beads can be easily purified with magnet.
