Aldehyde functional agarose beads (Mab-CHO) are one of Nanocs' surface functionalized magnetic agarose beads that have multiple aldehyde groups on their surface. These magnetic agarose beads have super-paramagnetic properties and they can be easily separated from media with commonly available magnetic beads separation devices. Our aldehyde functionalized magnetic agarose beads have high density of aldehyde groups, and these aldehyde groups can be used to react with proteins, antibodies, enzymes and many other biomolecules via so called schiff reaction, and thus to immobilize these molecules to the agarose bead surface. Because of their super paramagnetic property, these biomolecule conjugated agarose beads can be easily purified with magnet.
