LC-Biotin NHS
|
Synonym: LC-Biotin succinimidyl ester, NHS-LC-Biotin, 6-(Biotinamidocaproylamido)caproic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester, Biotin-X-X-NHS, N-Succinimidyl N-[6-(biotinylamino)caproyl]-6-aminocaproate
Description:
LC-Biotin NHS (Long chain Biotin NHS) is one of Nanocs' amine reactive biotinylation reagents. Biotin binds to avidin, streptavidin and neutravidin with high affinity. LC-Biotin NHS is the most common biotinylation reagent used widely for proteins, antibodies and many other substrates biotinylation. N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of biotin reacts efficiently with primary amine groups (-NH2) in alkaline buffer (pH 7-9). LC-Biotin NHS is a membrane permeable biotinylation reagent and can be used for intracellular labeling. NHS-LC-Biotin enables simple and efficient biotinylation of antibodies, proteins and any other primary amine-containing biomolecules in solution. Nanocs provides high purity biotin and its derivatives for various biotinylation and bioassay applications.
