Azide functional Dextrans:

Azide functionalized Dextran is one of Nanocs premier reactive dextran conjugates. These azido dextrans are reactive toward alkyne or dibenzylcyclooctyne (DBCO) groups via so called Click Chemistry. Nanocs provides a variety of azide functionalized dextran products with molecular weight ranged from 3,000 Da to 2,000 KDa. These functional dextrans were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo. Azido dextrans are water soluble and they can react with alkyne or cyclooctyne in aqueous solution.

Dextrans are naturally synthesized polysaccharides with good water solubility, low toxicity and varied molecular weights.
