Description:

Cy5-Insulin is one of Nanocs fluorescent Insulin conjugates that are labeled with near infrared cyanine dyes. Insulin is a protein secreted by beta cells of the pancreas. Primary function of Insulin is to regulate carbohydrate and fat metabilismin the body. Human insulin has 51 amino acids with a molecular weigth of 5806 Da. It is a dimmer of two peptide chains connected by disulfide bonds. Cy5 is a bright near-infrared fluorescent dye that has excitation/emission wavelength at around 650 nm/670 nm.  Because of its excellent tissue penetration capability, Cy5 labeled Insulin can be used for in-viov imaging. 

Nanocs provides a variety of chemically functionalized and bioconjugated Insulin with different functionality, including biotin Insulin, fluorescein labeled insulin, rhodamine, Cy3, Cy5, Cy5.5, Cy7, Cy7.5 and many other fluorophore labeled insulin conjugate.
