Description:

DSPE PEG Amine (DSPE-PEG-NH2) is one of Nanocs reactive phospholipid PEG reagents that have a reactive primary amine group on one PEG terminus. DSPE (1,2-Distearoyl-sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine) is a saturated 18C phospholipid commonly used in liposome synthesis.  Polyethylene glycol (PEG) conjugated DSPE has both hydrophilicity and hydrophobility property that is useful for drug delivery, gene transfection and biomolecule modification. Pegylation of phospholipids significantly improves the blood circulation time and stability for encapsulated drugs. Amine functionalized DSPE PEG allows further modification of PEG lipid via its reactive amino group.
