Description:

Maleimide PEG hydroxy, also called Maleimide PEG OH, is a thiol reactive heterobifunctional PEG derivative with maleimide group on the one end of PEG and hydroxyl (OH) group on the other. Maleimide groups react with sulfhydryl groups at pH 6.5~7.5 at room temperature to form stable thioether bonds, while hydroxyl group on the other end can be used for other reactions.

Physical Properties:

• Off-white/white solid or viscous liquid depends on molecule weight;
• Soluble in regular aqeous solution as well as in Chloroform, DMSO;

Storage Conditions:

• Store at -20 ⁰C. Desiccate. Avoid frequent thaw and freeze.
