Description

Biotin PEG4 Rhodamine is a bright red fluorescent biotin reagent that can be used for cell assays and imaging applications. Rhodamine is a commonly used red fluorescent dye with excitation/emission wavelength at 544/576 nm.

Nanocs Pegylated biotin compounds have good water solubility. The hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer arm imparts water solubility that is transferred to the biolinylated molecules , thus reducing aggregation of labeled proteins in solution. The PEG spacer arm also gives the biotin a long and flexible structure to minimize steric hindrance for binding to streptavidin or avdins.
