Synonym: Biotin succinimidyl ester, NHS-Biotin

Description:

Biotin NHS is one of Nanocs' amine reactive biotinylation reagents. Biotin binds to avidin, streptavidin and neutravidin with high affinity. Biotin NHS is the most common biotinylation reagent used widely for proteins, antibodies and many other substrates biotinylation. N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of biotin reacts efficiently with primary amine groups (-NH2) in alkaline buffer (pH 7-9). Biotin NHS is a membrane permeable biotinylation reagent and can be used for intracellular labeling. NHS-Biotin enables simple and efficient biotinylation of antibodies, proteins and any other primary amine-containing biomolecules in solution. Nanocs provides high purity biotin and its derivatives for various biotinylation and bioassay applications.
