Nanocs SnapLink long chain Biotin-LC-NHS is an amine reactive derivative of biotin with a 6-carbon spacer arm between biotin and NHS groups. Biotin binds to avidin, streptavidin and neutravidin with high affinity. N-hydroxysuccinimide esters of biotin react efficiently with primary amine groups (-NH2) in alkaline buffer (pH 7-9). Biotin-LC-NHS is a membrane permeable biotinylation reagent and can be used for intracellular labeling. NHS-Biotins enable simple and efficient biotinylation of antibodies, proteins and any other primary amine-containing biomolecules in solution. Nanocs provides high purity biotin and its derivatives for various biotinylation and bioassay applications.
