Desthiobiotin PEG Aminooxy:

Aminooxy PEG Desthiobiotin is one of carbonyl reactive Desthiobiotin PEG derivatives from Nanocs that can be used to attach desthiobiotin tag to polysaccharides or glycoproteins with aldehyde or ketone groups. Reaction between aminooxy and carbonyl group forms a stable oxime bond that is more stable than schiff base formed between amino and carbonyl group. Aminooxy and carbonyl reaction allows covalent conjugation of desthiobiotin to periodate oxidized polysaccharides or glycoproteins. Resulted desthiobiotin tag can bind to avdin, neutravidin or streptavidin with high specificity but it can be eluted from avidin/streptavidin complex under milder conditions.
